Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Oman is seeking an entry-level Service Operator/Operator Assistant I to learn basic safety and repair procedures on Hydrolic Workover (HWO) equipment. You will perform inspections, assist with maintenance, and support rigging of service line equipment at the wellsite.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental awareness, and adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic math and numerical reasoning are required.
• Reading and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety and repair procedures on Hydrolic Workover equipment using iLearn.
• Perform pre/post job inspections and maintenance procedures.
• Assist in cleaning, repair and preparation for jobs and support rigging up/down of equipment.
• Acquire skills via iLearn competency management and complete required tests.

Job Duties

Under strict supervision, learns basic safety and repair procedures on Hydrolic Workover (HWO) Product Service Line (PSL) equipment using the I Learn competency process defined for this job role. Learns basic operations to include but not limited to: (1) performing pre/post job HWO equipment inspections, (2) performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures, (3) maintaining support equipment (i.e., pumps, tongs, flowback lines etc.). Completes essential math and safety training following iLearn&aposs career development system processes. Assists in the clean up, repair, and preparation for a job. May be asked to assist during the rigging up and down of service line equipment at the wellsite. Skills are acquired by completing the career development requirements in iLearn&aposs competency management system for Operator Assistant I. Must have successfully passed company tests and met competency Task Lists requirements. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required. Reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are preferred. Licensure to drive commercial vehicles maybe required for land operations. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes. This is the entry level position into the Service Operator job family.
