Overview

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT.infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This includes servers, networks, cloud systems, and end-user support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple systems in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 to ensure continuous availability.
• Configure and administer Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Monitor server performance, apply security updates and patches.
• Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access rights.
• Administer File Server, Print Server, IIS, and WSUS.
• Plan and implement backup and restore policies.
• Configure and monitor Hyper-V or VMware virtual servers.
• Manage Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online integration with Active Directory.
• Monitor system logs (Event Viewer) and troubleshoot issues.
• Apply cybersecurity standards based on NCA/NIST frameworks.
• Manage and renew SSL Certificates.
• Provide advanced technical support to IT staff and end users.
• Accurately document all system configurations and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT role.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs), and security principles.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Hands-on experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Server+, or Azure Administrator are preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
