Job summary

Client of AJYAL HR Solutions & Services is seeking a Finance Principal to serve as the backbone of financial discipline, governance, and risk management. The role involves providing independent financial oversight, enhancing accountability, and supporting executive decisions for sustainable value creation in Oman.

The ideal candidate will lead finance transformation initiatives and manage relationships with key stakeholders, bringing at least 10-15 years of finance experience and strong expertise in treasury and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior/lead role.
• Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or commodity-based sectors is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial governance, internal controls, risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Evaluate and oversee complex commercial agreements and pricing structures.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to the CFO, CEO and Board.
• Manage key relationships with shareholders, regulators and executive stakeholders.
