Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Chief Internal Audit Officer (CIAO) to lead OOMCO's internal audit function, delivering independent assurance over controls, governance, risk management, and compliance. You will report to the Audit Committee and work with executives to drive corrective actions and strategic insights.

As CIAO, you will design five-year audit plans, oversee annual audits, coordinate with regulators, and mentor a high-performance team, ensuring objectivity and value-adding

Qualifications

• 16 years in Internal/External Audit with 8+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience leading an Internal Audit function and reporting to Audit Committee.
• Experience with board and audit committee agendas and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a 5-year Internal Audit strategic plan for Audit Committee approval.
• Oversee annual Internal Audit plan development and approval.
• Oversee end-to-end audit engagements from planning to reporting.
• Coordinate engagement with external auditors and regulators.
• Report audit results to Audit Committee and Executive Management.
• Oversee Internal Audit program delivering independent assurance and advisory services.
• Steer investigations and follow-up audits.
