Populux HR is seeking a skilled Category Manager to develop strategic long-term plans for category growth in Oman, specifically in Al Buraymi Governorate. Responsibilities include managing category ranging, pricing, and promotions; leading category management projects; and collaborating with various teams to expand product offerings. The ideal candidate will own P&L for the category while identifying market trends to optimize product availability and performance.

• Creating and developing a strategic long-term plan for the development of the category.
• Driving marketplace growth while considering consumers and competition.
• Responsible for category ranging, pricing, and promotions across channels.
• Placing appropriate orders to ensure product availability meets demand.
• Leading category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising.
• Collaborating with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories.
• Creating forecasts for product demand to ensure sustainability of inventory.
• Managing budget development and revenue for the category.
• Responsible for merchandising and assortment planning.
• Identifying broader trends and filling category gaps.
• Developing strong working relationships with buying, marketing, and sales teams.
• Owning P&L for the relevant category in alignment with business goals.
