Job summary

Transformation Pioneers in Oman is hiring a Business Analysis Consultant to identify business needs, analyze processes, and propose solutions that boost efficiency and support strategic decisions. You will mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analysis.

The role involves workshops with stakeholders, translating needs into IT requirements, and producing BRDs, functional specs, and use cases.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of BABOK, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with business process modeling and requirement gathering techniques.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or BI platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, objectives, and requirements.
• Analyze existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify improvement areas.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance performance.
• Lead workshops and meetings to gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for IT teams.
• Develop BRDs, Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
• Conduct gap analysis to compare current vs. desired processes.
• Propose process reengineering solutions to improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices in business process modeling (e.g., BPMN).
• Engage with cross-functional teams, including executives, project managers, and IT teams.
• Support change management initiatives by identifying potential impacts and mitigation strategies.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyze data trends and business metrics to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to visualize findings.
