Manage and control inventory and supplies within Nesma & Partners in order to ensure that materials are properly stored, tracked, and made available when needed to support the organization’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and thoroughly examine all incoming materials, cross-check them against purchase orders, and manage the documentation associated with purchase orders.
- Report, document, and keep a record of any damages or discrepancies found in received orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory by categorizing and labeling items.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Safely store and arrange items in an organized and accessible manner.
- Ensure that materials are stored according to safety and environmental regulations.
- Handle fragile or hazardous materials with care.
- Ensure the warehouse is adequately managed, and confirm that shipping tags align with the delivery instructions.
- Instruct the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) officer to conduct an inspection of the materials.
- Prepare the Site Store Receipt Voucher (SSRV).
- Inform the requester that the materials are in compliance and available for pickup.
- Arrange the demand slip for approval by the on-site supervisor.
- Generate an Issue Voucher (IV) to record the transfer of materials.
- Update the system to accurately represent the current inventory quantity.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Keep track of product expiration dates.
- Maintain a system for tracking who receives materials and when they are issued.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption, and any discrepancies.
- Provide data and analysis to support decision-making related to procurement and inventory management.
- Establish a monthly checklist to identify and address non-moving inventory items.
- Ensure the security of the storage area.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and returns.
- Follow all relevant Material Procurement processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
- Demonstrate compliance with the organization’s values and ethics.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports.
Experience Required:
- 0-4 years’ related experience in roles within similar positions.
- Experience in the EPC industry.
Education Qualifications:
High School/Vocational Diploma or equivalent.
