Job summary

Manpower Resources India is seeking a Store Officer to manage day-to-day stores and warehouse operations in an integrated steel plant in Oman. The role requires a Diploma with a course in Materials Management / Stores Management and 4–10 years of relevant experience.

You will handle receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of spares and maintenance materials, maintain accurate stock records, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure material availability and proper inventory control.

Qualifications

• Diploma with course/certification in Materials Management/Stores Management.
• 4-10 years of experience in relevantStores/Warehouse roles.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day stores and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day stores and warehouse activities in an integrated steel plant.
• Handle receipt, inspection, storage and issue of spares, consumables and maintenance materials.
• Maintain stock records, bin locations, material identification and documentation.
• Ensure timely material availability for Production, Maintenance, Utilities and Projects.
• Prepare/handle GRN, Material Issue, Material Return and Stock Transfer transactions.
• Monitor stock levels, shortages, slow-moving and non-moving materials.
• Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Maintenance, Production and other departments.
• Ensure proper preservation, storage and housekeeping of materials.
• Work with SAP MM / ERP for stores and inventory transactions.
