Job summary

Manpower Resources India (P) ltd. seeks an Asst Mgr./ Dy. Mgr.

SMS - Electrical & Automation in Oman to ensure reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical and automation systems in the Steel Melting Shop (EAF, LRF/LF, CCM, RMHS) and associated utilities. The incumbent will lead maintenance activities, optimize automation, monitor energy usage, and drive TPM/Kaizen initiatives while ensuring safety compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech or diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation with relevant industry experience.
Experience in maintenance of electrical and automation systems in steel/metal sectors preferred.
Strong knowledge of HT/LT switchgear, VFDs, motors, and instrumentation.
Proficient in PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and industrial networks.
Experience with TPM, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, and RCA methodologies.

Responsibilities

Ensure reliable operation and preventive maintenance of electrical and automation systems in EAF/LRF/CCM/RMHS and utilities.
Troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime.
Maintain electrical drawing libraries, backups, and SAP CMMS records.
Monitor energy consumption and drive energy-saving initiatives.
Lead and train maintenance technicians and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance MTBF and reduce MTTR.
