Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

The Full Stack Developer - AI & Agentic Applications will be responsible for the following:

Application Development

• Design and develop secure, responsive and maintainable web applications.
• Develop reusable frontend components, backend services, APIs and integration services.
• Build complete application features from technical design through implementation, testing and deployment.
• Design and maintain application data models and relational-database structures.
• Implement background jobs, asynchronous processing, caching and event-driven application behaviour where required.
• Develop reusable engineering components and patterns that can be applied across multiple AMAN solutions.
• Support performance optimisation, maintainability and scalability of production applications.
• Extend existing platforms, frameworks and open-source components where appropriate rather than unnecessarily rebuilding functionality from scratch.

AI and Agentic Application Development

• Build AI-enabled application experiences including conversational interfaces, intelligent assistants, enterprise search, document workflows and automated business processes.
• Integrate large language models, AI services, retrieval systems and agent workflows into production applications.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), semantic search and vector-database integrations where required.
• Build agents that interact with enterprise applications, tools, APIs and data sources.
• Implement tool calling, streaming responses and agent orchestration within user-facing applications.
• Develop appropriate error handling, retries, recovery mechanisms and monitoring for AI-enabled workflows.
• Implement human-in-the-loop approval steps for sensitive or consequential agent actions.
• Work closely with Machine Learning Engineers to integrate AI models, RAG pipelines and intelligent-agent capabilities.
• Build rapid but maintainable MVPs and proof-of-value applications for demonstrations, pilots and customer validation.
• Evolve validated MVPs and pilots into secure, production-ready applications.

Integration, Security and Deployment

• Integrate applications with enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, asynchronous messaging and other integration approaches.
• Integrate authentication and enterprise identity services including OAuth, OpenID Connect and SSO.
• Implement role-based access control, user permissions and tenant isolation where required.
• Implement audit trails, input validation and appropriate security controls.
• Apply secure software-development practices throughout the application lifecycle.
• Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support containerised deployment, CI/CD and environment management.
• Support deployment across cloud, private-cloud and on-premises environments.
• Troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, database, AI and integration layers.Support production applications and coordinate resolution of technical issues.
• Participate in technical discovery sessions, customer workshops, demonstrations and solution discussions where development input is required.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment documentation and relevant system-support materials.
• Communicate estimates, dependencies, implementation risks and technical constraints clearly.

Any other responsibilities assigned by management as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4-6 years of professional software-development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining full-stack production applications.
• Experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Strong backend-development experience using ASP.NET Core, Python or Node.js.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Practical experience integrating LLM APIs, generative AI or intelligent-agent capabilities into applications is strongly preferred.
• Experience with relational databases and data modelling.
• Experience with Git, Docker, automated testing and CI/CD.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications through APIs, webhooks or asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with enterprise SSO, OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect is an advantage.
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, MCP or agent-orchestration frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience with private-cloud or on-premises application deployment is an advantage.
• Experience with Arabic interfaces, right-to-left layouts or accessibility is an advantage.
• Experience delivering applications for government or regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
• Equivalent demonstrated technical capability and relevant practical experience may be considered in place of the stated number of years.
