Fluency in English is required, with Arabic being a strong advantage.

Build the sovereign, Arabic and English AI features citizens actually use, from RAG and agents to production grade LLM applications running on premises.

RQMNA engineers the intelligent, sovereign platforms that modernize how governments and large enterprises serve their people.

We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer, on site in Muscat, to build the generative AI features at the heart of a national platform.

What you'll do: Build applied AI on top of foundation models, RAG, agents, and LLM powered features that ship.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build production AI features on top of large language models, with a focus on Arabic
• Build retrieval augmented generation pipelines over enterprise and citizen data
• Build agentic AI: tool using, multi step agents with human in the loop and clear guardrails
• Engineer prompt, context, and retrieval strategies, and the vector search that grounds them
• Define and run evaluations and guardrails so AI output is accurate, safe, and auditable
• Integrate AI into the platform's applications as reliable, low latency product features
• Apply responsible AI in practice: safety, bias checks, and full auditability
• Partner with the ML Engineer on serving and the Data Scientist on models, and mentor the team

• You are a strong software engineer who went deep on applied generative AI, and shipped it to production
• You work fluently with large language models, RAG, agents, and prompt and context engineering
• You treat evaluations and guardrails as part of the build, not an afterthought
• You care about output quality, latency, and safety in real products
• You care about language quality, including the hard parts of getting Arabic right
• You hold a Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• You explain model behavior and trade offs in language a product team understands
• Bonus points for sovereign, regulated, or low resource language AI
• Fluent English required; Arabic is a valuable advantage
