Job summary

Aster DM Healthcare in Oman seeks a highly qualified nephrologist to diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, supervise hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations.

You will coordinate care for renal replacement therapy and transplantation where applicable, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and ensure evidence-based patient care with excellent communication and patient-management skills.

Qualifications

• MBBS + MD/DNB/DM or equivalent qualification in Nephrology.
• Relevant post‑qualification experience in Nephrology.
• Strong clinical, communication and patient‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases
• Manage AKI CKD hypertension diabetic kidney disease electrolyte and acid-base disorders
• Manage and monitor hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations
• Manage renal emergencies and dialysis-related complications
• Coordinate care for patients requiring renal replacement therapy and transplantation where applicable
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure evidence-based patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings quality initiatives and on‑call duties
