Job summary

Confidential Company in Muscat seeks a highly experienced urologist specializing in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. The role emphasizes renal transplantation, uro-oncology, and complex reconstructive procedures.

You will perform robotic-assisted, laparoscopic, endourological and open surgeries and lead multidisciplinary teams, teaching, and quality-improvement activities. Experience in paediatric and female urology is a plus.

Qualifications

• Robotic Urological Surgery expertise with minimally invasive techniques.
• Advanced laparoscopic skills in complex urology procedures.
• Renal transplantation capability including live and deceased donation.
• Endourology and management of urolithiasis with PCNL variants.
• Experience with RIRS, ureteroscopy, TURP and TURBT.
• Uro-oncology focus on prostate, kidney and bladder cancers.
• Reconstructive urology and female urology including VVF repair.
• Paediatric urology and hypospadias/ture repair exposure.
• Andrology and prosthetic urology knowledge is desirable.
• Complex surgical decision-making within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong clinical leadership, teaching and mentorship of trainees.

Job description

• Diagnose and manage a comprehensive range of adult urological conditions.

• Performrobotic-assisted, laparoscopic, endourological and open urological procedures.

• Perform advanced robotic procedures, with particular expertise in minimally invasive urology.

• Manage complexuro-oncology cases, including prostate, kidney and bladder cancers.

• Perform endourological procedures includingPCNL, Mini-PCNL, RIRS, ureteroscopy, TURP and TURBT.

• Provide comprehensiverenal transplantation services, including live-related and deceased-donor transplantation.

• Perform reconstructive and female urological procedures, including urethral stricture, hypospadias and VVF repair.

• Manage paediatric urological conditions including VUR, PUV and PUJ obstruction.

• Provide pre-operative, operative and post-operative patient care.

• Lead and support the development of advanced robotic and minimally invasive urology services.

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical teaching, training and quality-improvement activities.
