Job summary

Aster DM Healthcare in Muscat, Oman, seeks a Clinical Privileges Consultant Urologist to lead advanced urology care, including robotic-assisted and laparoscopic surgery, complex diagnoses, and multidisciplinary management.

The ideal candidate has MBBS, MS/DNB in Urology, and at least 13 years post-specialization with proven robotic experience, able to manage uro-oncology, renal transplantation, and paediatric cases, with strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MS/DNB (General Surgery followed by DNB Urology)
• Minimum 13 years of post-specialization experience, preferably with significant robotic surgery experience
• Proven experience in robotic-assisted urological procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide general and complex urological diagnosis and management
• Perform robotic-assisted and laparoscopic urological surgery
• Conduct endourology procedures (e.g., PCNL, Mini-PCNL, RIRS, URS, TURP, TURBT)
• Manage uro-oncology including prostate, kidney and bladder cancers
• Oversee renal transplantation, reconstruction, female and selected paediatric urology cases
• Deliver pre- and post-operative care and multidisciplinary management
• Provide emergency urological care as needed

• Uro-oncology including prostate, kidney and bladder malignancies
• Renal transplantation, reconstructive, female and selected paediatric urology
• Andrology, prosthetic urology and emergency urological care
• Pre- and post-operative care and multidisciplinary management
