Job summary

JobItUs in Oman seeks a male Gastroenterologist with 3–6 years post-specialization to diagnose and treat GI and liver diseases. The role includes performing diagnostic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy, developing patient-specific plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The candidate should have DM/DNB/Arab Board, DHA clearance, and prefer Oman DataFlow/Prometric/MOH Viva. Salary offers up to 2,200 OMR/month plus benefits and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in medical gastroenterology with emphasis on non-surgical management.
• Must have postgraduate qualification (DM / DNB / Arab Board).
• DHA clearance and Oman DataFlow, Prometric or MOH Viva preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
• Perform diagnostic endoscopic procedures.

Job description

Key Skills

• Strong experience in Medical Gastroenterology.
• Candidates with expertise in managing gastrointestinal diseases through medical treatment will be preferred over surgical gastroenterology.

• Experience in:
• Diagnostic Upper GI Endoscopy
• Colonoscopy
• Management of Liver Diseases
• Pancreatic Disorders
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders
• Ability to independently manage OPD and inpatient gastroenterology cases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and patient follow-up

Key Requirements:

• Male Gastroenterologist
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience
• Preferred experience: 4–6 years
• Age up to 48 years
• Candidates with DHA cleared + Oman DataFlow may also be considered
• Oman DataFlow, Prometric or MOH Viva preferred
