Job summary

JobItUs in Oman seeks an experienced Interventional Cardiologist with DM/DNB/DrNB in Cardiology to lead coronary angiography, PCI and device management. The role covers OPD, inpatient and emergency cases with 24/7 on-call duties as required.

A strong emphasis on patient safety and clinical governance is noted. Split shifts and long-term commitment are expected, with benefits including health and life insurance and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of post-specialisation experience.
• Experience in independent diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
• Ability to perform interventional procedures with patient safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform coronary angiography, PCI and other interventional duties independently.
• Manage emergency cardiac interventions including primary PCI for AMI.
• Perform catheterisation and other Cath Lab procedures with safety and standards.
• Impart pre- and post-procedure care and document records.

• Perform coronary angiography, angioplasty and other interventional cardiac procedures independently.


• Manage emergency cardiac interventions, including primary PCI for acute myocardial infarction.


• Perform cardiac catheterisation and other Cath Lab procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to international clinical standards.


• Implant and manage permanent pacemakers and other cardiac rhythm management devices.


• Provide comprehensive pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Maintain accurate medical records, procedure documentation and discharge summaries.


• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities

Split shift duty

• 09:00 AM – 01:00 PM


• 05:00 PM – 09:00 PM

General Criteria

• Minimum 3 years of post-specialisation experience is mandatory.


• Male Candidate


• Preference for mid-level specialists with 4–6 years of experience after PG/Specialization.


• Preferred age: Up to 48 years.


• Candidates with Oman DataFlow completed, Prometric cleared, or MOH Viva cleared will be given priority.
  
• For Gastroenterologists and Interventional Cardiologists, candidates with DHA Exam cleared and Oman DataFlow completed can also be considered.


• Monthly on-call duties may be required once or twice as per the duty roster.

Health Insurance: Coverage is provided for the employee. Eligible family members may be added by paying OMR 120 per person per year

• House Rent Allowance (HRA) is included within the offered salary package.
