Job summary

IDEAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LLC is seeking a Global Sourcing Specialist to drive global procurement for materials and components for cutting-edge machinery. You will analyze markets, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate with sales, project management, and operations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

You will build supplier relationships, maintain data records, and prepare competitive proposals while adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Admin, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years in sourcing/procurement or proposal prep in industrial/oil & gas/MEP contexts.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procurement: identify suppliers, evaluate quality/pricing/delivery, manage supplier relationships, conduct market research, ensure timely procurement, maintain supplier/product databases.
• Proposal preparation: collaborate with sales, prepare detailed proposals with costs, timelines, technical specs, ensure compliance, revise proposals, maintain records.
• Communication and coordination: work with sales/procurement/project teams to ensure seamless operations, gather information from clients, provide updates.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain records of sourcing activities and proposals, generate reports on performance and savings, ensure compliance with policies.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing and Procurement:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate
