Sisco Jobs in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on behalf of New Alfa International, seeks an Electrical Engineer – Solar PV / Electrical Power for Oman. The role targets utility-scale solar PV projects, LV/MV networks, and inverter testing/commissioning.

The candidate will review SLDs, oversee electrical construction, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams while ensuring safety and quality on site in Oman.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of utility-scale or large rooftop solar PV electrical systems.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage electrical networks.
• Hands-on inverter installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and review SLDs and electrical drawings.
• Experience carrying out testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical construction activities for utility-scale and rooftop solar PV projects.
• Supervise LV/MV network installation per drawings and specs.
• Review SLDs, layouts, cable schedules, and docs.
• Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of inverters and equipment.
• Perform inspections, functional testing, troubleshooting, and pre-commissioning.
• Ensure site work complies with specs, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, commissioning and project teams to meet milestones.
• Prepare technical reports, testing records, and commissioning docs.
