Job summary

ahlibank in Muscat, Oman is seeking a seasoned Banking professional to manage and grow a portfolio of SME liability accounts. You will identify income opportunities, build plans, secure deposits, and ensure adherence to credit and operational policies.

You will lead business development, manage risk and compliance, and drive process improvements through digital solutions while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field.
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience in SME/business banking or relationship management.
• Experience with liability products and portfolio management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify income-generating opportunities in defined markets and industries.
• Create and maintain an annual business plan and sales budget for the portfolio.
• Promote liability products to meet sales targets and contribute to branch performance.
• Manage a portfolio of SME customers for profitability and retention.
• Conduct regular client reviews and propose solutions aligned with Bank strategy.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle queries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous process improvement through automation and digital solutions.
