Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies in Oman seeks an experienced Multi-Skilled Welder & Fabricator to perform welding, fabrication, installation, and repair across kitchen equipment and facility assets. Proficient in TIG/Argon welding on stainless and carbon steel.

You will fabricate and repair components, inspect welds, read basic drawings, and follow safety procedures. The role requires at least 5 years of experience and a technical welding qualification, with independent work and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or trade certificate in Welding or Fabrication.
• Minimum 5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Strong TIG/Argon welding skills, particularly on stainless steel.
• Proficiency in MIG and Arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail, workmanship, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG/Argon, MIG, and Arc welding for maintenance and fabrication projects.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair stainless-steel and carbon-steel components.
• Repair catering equipment, laundry machinery, pipes, tanks, brackets, frames, and other facility assets.
• Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and finishing activities.
• Inspect welds for strength, accuracy, and quality of finish.
• Select suitable welding methods, tools, and materials for each job.
• Follow hot-work permit requirements and all workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good condition.
