Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering.
• 15 years of reservoir simulation experience in conventional and unconventional fields.
• Training history of specialized courses and seminars is expected.
• Technical publications and in-depth practical experience are paramount.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and communicate with specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in integrated reservoir simulation studies, including data analysis, model construction, history matching, calibration and prediction.
• Act as technical advisor to management regarding best practices for reservoir simulation and modeling topics for unconventional resources.
• Apply fracture modeling, compositional, PVT modeling, coupling surface and sub-surface modeling, and complex well and smart completions.
• Study and propose alternatives to optimize field development and maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
• Provide expert mentoring and train in-house technical courses to develop young engineers.
• Represent Saudi Aramco in external technical contacts with consultants and vendors, and participate in technical societies.
