Job summary

Maseera is seeking an experienced Senior QC Engineer – MEP to join our railway project team in Oman. The successful candidate will oversee quality control of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works from construction through commissioning.

You will review ITPs, method statements, submittals and NCRs; conduct site inspections; monitor HVAC, drainage, firefighting and other MEP systems; coordinate with consultants and subcontractors; and ensure documentation for handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor QC activities for MEP works in line with project specs, drawings and standards.
• Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, material submittals and QC documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and project quality requirements.
• Monitor installation and inspection of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical and other MEP systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective/preventive actions and inspection observations.
• Track material inspections, testing procedures and MEP testing/commissioning activities.
• Conduct quality audits and ensure timely closure of inspection comments and punch-list items.
• Maintain quality records, prepare inspection reports and ensure proper documentation for handover.
