Job summary

Stsoman in Oman is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to support project planning and site engineering activities. The role emphasizes CMEI works and mechanical site operations, with a focus on coordinating planning with site execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 8–10 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to work with project and site teams on scheduling and progress

Qualifications

• BE/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience as a Site Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background.
• Exposure to CMEI works.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and scheduling activities for mechanical and CMEI works.
• Coordinate planning requirements with site engineering and project execution teams.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and planned milestones.
• Support site teams in coordinating mechanical construction activities.
• Track work progress and identify potential delays or scheduling issues.
• Coordinate with relevant project stakeholders to support timely execution.
• Prepare and maintain project planning documentation and progress updates.
• Assist in developing and updating project schedules based on site requirements.
• Support effective coordination between planning and site engineering functions.
