Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Materials Corrosion Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary teams on oil and gas projects in the Middle East. The role focuses on materials selection, corrosion control strategy, and implementation of protection systems across FEED, detailed design and operations.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in oil & gas, with experience in corrosion management, coatings and CP, and will lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers within a QMS-compliant framework.

Qualifications

Experience in materials selection for onshore/offshore oil & gas projects.
Strong background in corrosion analysis and management programs.
Experience with cathodic protection specification, design and installation.
Proven ability to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team on complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of materials corrosion engineers to deliver on time and meet QMS requirements.
Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines, vendors and client personnel.
Prepare technical evaluations, bids and material selections.
Ensure designs comply with international, client and company standards and procedures.
Provide corrosion monitoring input and develop protection systems across project phases.
