Job description

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end interior design process from concept to execution, ensuring the creative vision aligns with client objectives and budgetary constraints throughout every project phase.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of interior elements within the overall building framework.

Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather spatial measurements, and ensure all design solutions comply with safety regulations and building codes.

Review and approve technical drawings including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, and FF&E schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Manage interior design budgets, review BOQs and tender packages, and apply value engineering to optimize costs without compromising design quality.

Supervise and mentor junior designers, delegate tasks effectively, and support their professional growth in line with the consultancy's design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution, with advanced degrees preferred.
• A minimum of 9–15 years of professional experience in interior design, showcasing a robust portfolio of diverse projects.
• NCIDQ certification or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and professional competence.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
