Job summary

WSP seeks an accomplished Project Director - Infrastructure to lead major infrastructure and masterplan delivery across Saudi Arabia. This high-visibility role requires strategic direction, governance, and delivery excellence for multidisciplinary programmes engaging government entities, giga-project developers, and private-sector clients.

The ideal candidate will have 20+ years in engineering consultancy, a strong civil engineering background, and a proven record of delivering complex projects

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in engineering consultancy or major development programmes.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure and masterplan projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong leadership, client-facing, and commercial acumen.
• Experience with government authorities, developers, and infrastructure agencies.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale infrastructure and masterplan projects across Saudi Arabia.
• Provide strategic leadership from planning through to close-out.
• Establish execution strategies, governance, and performance objectives.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality standards.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across engineering, PM, commercial, planning.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain executive-level client engagement.
• Oversee risk management, contract negotiations, and project controls.
