Job summary

JASARAPMC is seeking a Project Director to lead a complex, high-value civil/structural program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aligned with Vision 2030. The role oversees multi-disciplinary teams, manages budgets and schedules, and ensures regulatory compliance while engaging with clients and contractors.

The successful candidate has 20+ years in steel frame structures/bridges, leadership experience, strong communication skills, and deep knowledge of Saudi construction standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of experience delivering complex steel frame structures/bridges with value over SAR 1bn.
• Experience with ACP cladding and large LED screens (optional).
• Leads a team including direct staff, construction supervision, and 3 contractors.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder relations.
• Familiar with Saudi Arabia's construction industry, regulations and standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project team, including engineers, designers, and staff
• Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and specifications
• Provide regular project updates to the senior leadership team and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• With 20+ years experience delivering complicated steel frame structures/bridges with value exceeding SAR1bn and strong knowledge of structural steel design, construction staging analysis and steel erection
• Experience of ACP cladding and large LED screens optional
• The Project Director will manage a team of 10 direct staff, construction supervision team and 3 contractors. (Main Contractor, Steel contractor and LED contractor)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's construction industry, regulations, and standards is preferred
