Job summary

This Senior Non-Key Expert – Human Development role focuses on human capital development, education, skills, and social policy within technical assistance assignments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in development studies, economics, education, social policy, public policy, labour economics.
• English: C1 level.
• Arabic is an asset.
• French is an asset.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in human development, education, skills development, employment and/or social policy.
• Experience preparing sector assessments, policy analyses, strategies, background papers or recommendations.
• Experience supporting institutional capacity building and reform in public institutions.
• Good knowledge of human capital development and socio-economic policy issues.
• Experience in Egypt and/or the MENA region highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support technical assistance assignments related to human capital development, education and skills, employment and labour-market policies, social policy, institutional strengthening, and socio-economic development.
• Contribute to policy analyses, sector assessments, and background papers as needed.
• Assist in capacity building and reform activities within public institutions.
