Job summary

Rimal Global Technical Services is seeking a Project HSE Lead in Oman to oversee health, safety and environmental matters for fabrication yard activities. The role ensures compliance with COMPANY HSE requirements and local regulations while supporting safe project execution.

Key duties include developing and executing HSE plans, advising management and supervisors, monitoring performance, auditing, and leading incident investigations. A senior leader with extensive sector experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of HSE experience in heavy fabrication yards, oil & gas, offshore structures, or EPC projects.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing HSE in large-scale operations.
• Exposure to Saudi Aramco projects or QE and major offshore clients.
• Proven experience managing HSE systems for fabrication, lifting, welding, and offshore loadout.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of Project HSE Plan aligned with COMPANY standards.
• Provide expert advice to Project Management, Construction Managers, and Supervisors on HSE issues and risk control measures.
• Monitor, audit, and report on HSE performance, including weekly reports to COMPANY.
• Facilitate HSE training, awareness programs, and competency development for yard personnel.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; identify root causes and establish corrective/preventive measures.
• Address COMPANY observations promptly and support third-party / client audits.
