Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium to large GIS and substation projects in the Saudi market.

You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and deliverables, coordinating closely with engineering teams and customers to ensure on-time handover and compliance with ISO and internal processes. The ideal candidate brings 7–12 years of project execution experience, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 7–12 years of experience in project execution of GIS or substation projects.
• Experience with Saudi Arabia & Middle East customers preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large GIS projects ensuring adherence to contract scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Develop and maintain project plans, master document lists and key handover artifacts.
• Coordinate with engineering, customers and suppliers for timely approvals and deliveries.
• Monitor risks, changes, and scope, securing approvals for time and cost changes.
• Ensure SAP/ERP processes are followed and documentation is compliant with ISO and internal standards.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.
