Job summary

OQ in Oman seeks a seasoned Senior Financial Systems Lead to govern and optimize the SAP-based finance landscape across the group. You will own data governance, enable IFRS reporting, and drive automation and controls for consolidation, budgeting, and treasury workflows.

You will partner with Finance, IT, and external vendors to manage system changes, lead a small team, and ensure accuracy, security, and timely closes in a complex multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in a finance systems context.
• At least 3 years in a managerial, systems lead, or solution owner role in a multinational environment.
• Strong experience with SAP ECC/S4HANA and SAP BPC; end-user enablement and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, performance, and improvement of the financial systems landscape across the group.
• Own master data governance (COA, cost centers, projects, financial dimensions).
• Establish internal controls, access, and change-management for financial systems.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and alignment with group reporting requirements.
• Oversee month/quarter/year end readiness and data quality across ERP, consolidation, and BI tools.
• Drive automation to enhance reporting, reconciliation, and consolidation processes.
