Job summary

Renardet SA & Partners in Oman seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the Technical Advisory Team for a utility-scale Solar IPP project. You will provide specialist electrical input across project development, grid interconnection, RFP documentation, and bid evaluation.

You will review HV/MV systems, substations, transformers, protection, metering, SCADA and power evacuation interfaces, coordinate with OETC and stakeholders, and help prepare technical requirements, MERs and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
10–12 years in power generation, transmission, renewables or major infra projects.
Experience in utility-scale Solar PV / Solar IPP projects desirable.
Strong knowledge of HV/MV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection, metering, SCADA, grid interconnection.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist electrical input to project development and PDR.
Assess electrical interconnection with transmission system and connection route to substation.
Develop and review technical requirements, MERs, schedules and drawings for RFPs.
Evaluate bidder proposals and conduct technical clarifications and negotiations.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, architectural, environmental, HSE disciplines and with OETC.
