Worley is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Muscat to lead brownfield electrical design for major projects from FEED through startup. You will ensure compliance with engineering standards and guide cross-functional teams, coordinating with procurement and construction.

The role emphasizes HSSE leadership, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement within a multicultural Middle East environment.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of Brownfield Oil & Gas Electrical Design experience.
• Experience as a professional Electrical Engineer from FEED through startup.
• 5–10 years leading electrical activities within multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
• Experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering status or equivalent registration.
• Strong leadership and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments.
• HSSE leadership across project phases.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with electrical design standards across POs and programmes.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and ensure designs comply.
• Ensure technical integrity through checking, verification, and design reviews.
• Assess safety hazards and risks across asset lifecycles.
• Address VIP actions in a timely manner.
• Design innovative electrical engineering approaches and drive improvements.
• Document key design decisions with safety impacts.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and efficiency.
• Interface with procurement and construction teams.
• Coordinate change control and technical query processes within the discipline.
