Job summary

Worley in Oman seeks a Principal Designer with extensive oil & gas project experience to lead drafting and design activities. The role emphasizes 2D drawing from E3D, lighting calculations using Dialux, and ensuring quality through established design standards.

You will mentor Omani personnel, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure timely delivery within project schedules. Strong communication and planning skills are essential for success in this senior design position.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND /ITI /Diploma in Engineering.
• Principal Designer shall have a minimum of 18 years related experience with proven capability in an engineering design firm.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in design of oil & gas facilities with extensive experience in front end and detailed design, plus proven experience in AutoCAD & E3D.

Responsibilities

• Understand the design quality system requirements and ensure they are met.
• Produce presentable and accurate drawings and modify existing drawings.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and liaise with other disciplines.
• Check interfaces between disciplines and ensure discipline design interfaces are clearly defined.
• Carry out 2D drawings from E3D and lighting calculations in Dialux.
