Job summary

Mace Group in Muscat is seeking a senior contract and project management professional to oversee the execution and compliance of all project contracts on a major port infrastructure development.

You will support the resident engineer, draft contractual correspondence, and ensure delivery aligns with terms while advancing net-zero carbon goals. This full-time, on-site role offers collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and significant regional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (postgraduate in contract management preferred).
• Minimum 20 years in project/contract management on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience drafting, managing, and overseeing large-scale contracts.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract (preferred).
• Experience on at least two port construction projects valued at USD 400M+.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Overseeing the execution and compliance of all project contracts.
• Supporting the resident engineer in drafting and issuing contractual correspondence to contractors.
• Ensuring delivery aligns fully with contract terms and agreed conditions.
• Working closely with the resident engineer, team leader and client to maintain contract adherence across all project activities.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree (postgraduate qualification in contract management preferred).
• Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and ongoing professional development.
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in project/contract management on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience preparing, managing, and overseeing large-scale contracts.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract (preferred).
• Experience in a similar role on at least two port construction projects valued at USD 400M+ each.
