Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a highly experienced Construction Quality Manager to lead all QC activities for a major QLNG project at the Sohar Yard. You will be the senior quality authority on site, ensuring fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning meet project specs, codes, and QatarEnergy/Qatargas requirements.

You will manage a large QC team (50+ inspectors), drive a culture of quality excellence, and supervise documentation, audits, and punch-list clearance to achieve

Qualifications

• 20 years of progressive QC/QA experience in offshore oil & gas construction and fabrication projects.
• Megaproject experience; Qatar LNG (Qatargas/QatarEnergy), Aramco/ ADNOC/ ONGC offshore projects preferred.
• Led large QC teams (50+ inspectors) across multiple disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards: ASME, API, AWS, ACI, IEC, ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Control Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and related quality procedures.
• Lead a large, multi-disciplinary QC team and ensure competency and coverage for all project phases.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and material verification activities, including NDE and FAT/SAT.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ACI, IEC, ISO 9001).
• Audit and manage contractor QC plans, procedures, staffing, and quality records; interface with QatarEnergy/Qatargas QA/QC teams.
