Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering invites a seasoned Construction Quality Manager to lead QC activities for the QLNG Sohar Yard project. You will oversee all fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning tasks, ensuring strict compliance with project specs, codes, and QatarEnergy/Qatargas requirements.

You will head a large QC team, implement QMS, ITPs, and ensure rigorous non-conformance handling and continuous improvement across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 20+ years in QC/QA for offshore oil & gas.
• Experience leading large QC teams across multiple disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of international codes (ASME, API, AWS, IEC, ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Lead QC activities for fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain QMS, ITPs, and related quality procedures.
• Manage a 50+ person multi-disciplinary QC team and drive continuous improvement.
• Interface with QatarEnergy/Qatargas QA/QC and ensure compliance with standards.
