Job summary

Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) seeks a senior legal and compliance executive to lead the Legal, GRC, Quality and HSE functions. You will advise executive management, shape corporate strategy, ensure regulatory adherence, oversee audits, and guide governance for sustainable performance and integrity.

The role requires a law degree with a preferred Master’s, extensive leadership experience, ISO and regulatory exposure, and a proven track record in governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law required; Master’s preferred.
• Master’s degree in Law, MBA or Corporate Governance desirable.
• 16 years of experience in Legal with GRC/Quality/HSE exposure.
• 8+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Strong exposure to ISO standards and local regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative legal guidance to BoD CEO and executive management.
• Lead governance, risk & compliance embedding in strategic decisions and operations.
• Oversee quality assurance, audits, and regulatory compliance frameworks (QMS/ISO).
• Oversee HSE compliance, audits, and incident investigation with timely closure of actions.
• Steer strategic leadership across Legal, GRC & Quality and HSE functions.
