Qualifications

• 5–10 years in coating inspection.
• Experience with offshore platforms, oil & gas fabrication yards, or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating techniques.
• Familiarity with offshore coating systems and corrosion protection.
• Good understanding of international codes and standards.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect surface preparation, coating applications, and final coatings.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITP and project specifications.
• Maintain and review coating inspection reports and DIRs.
• Verify paint batch certificates and material approvals; ensure traceability.
• Coordinate with client inspectors, third-party inspectors, and project teams.
• Raise NCRs for non-conformances and track corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to HSE guidelines and safe handling of materials.
