Job summary

Tawteen in Oman is seeking a seasoned Finance Budget Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. You will coordinate across departments to prepare annual budgets, consolidate inputs, and ensure alignment with strategy.

The role emphasizes variance analysis, cost control and financial modeling to support decision-making. You will work with Accounting, Treasury and Procurement to guarantee data integrity and drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent.
• 6 years of relevant experience in accounting or similar work.
• Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA Finance) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with departments to prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Consolidate departmental budgets into the overall company budget.
• Monitor actual performance against approved budgets and identify variances.
• Analyze budget deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic budget reports, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models and scenarios to support planning activities.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditures proposals.
• Liaise with department heads to ensure accurate budget inputs and updates.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Treasury and Procurement teams for data alignment.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to budgeting.
• Identify opportunities to improve budgeting processes and reporting efficiency.
