Job summary

Deloitte Middle East is seeking a Senior in Audit & Assurance to demonstrate and develop capabilities across engagement planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder management. You will liaise with Centers of Excellence and ensure delivery of high-quality audits in line with professional standards.

The role requires supervising staff, managing engagement timelines, and applying judgment to audit findings while maintaining client relationships and project integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field; graduate degree desired.
• 4+ years of experience in public auditing and accounting; ideally with Big Audit Firms.
• Ability to supervise staff, inspect client records, compile data, prepare audit reports.
• Ability to plan and manage engagements and people within deadlines.
• International accounting qualification desired: CA, ACCA or CPA; CA preferred.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing); bilingual in Arabic/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Builds trust with stakeholders by understanding service levels and expectations.
• Delivers high quality services with awareness of regulation and risk management on processes and controls.
• Takes responsibility for understanding key statistics and industry matters before engagement.
• Links risks, controls, procedures and findings across the EMS file in a timely manner.
• Develops relationships beyond the finance function to apply professional skepticism.
