Job summary

OQ’s OQBI division in Oman invites a Sr. Engineer Asset Integrity to lead corrosion control, inspection programs and RBI-based risk assessments for static equipment and piping. You’ll work with Process, Ops and Electrical teams to assure safe, compliant operation and timely reporting.

Requirement: mechanical engineering or metallurgy degree, 6+ years in oil & gas asset integrity, familiarity with API 510/570/580/653; NACE/ASNT certifications are a plus. Based in Salalah, Oman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or metallurgy.
• English fluent; Arabic desirable.
• 6+ years in oil & gas asset integrity.
• API 510/570/580/653 certifications desirable.
• Experience with RBI, corrosion control, NDT, QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Oversees online corrosion monitoring and control program.
• Coordinate with Electrical Team for cathodic protection.
• Develop RBI-based inspection programs for static equipment.
• Lead inspection services for process plants and pipelines.
• Prepare turnaround scope and inspection reports.
