Senior Accountant

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Salalah. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements


• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes


• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes


• Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for improvement


• Develop financial forecasts and budgets


• Perform financial analysis to support business decision making


• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations


• Oversee payroll process and related tax filings


• Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field


• CPA certification preferred but not required


• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role


• Experience with biometric passport is a plus


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, laws, and regulations


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs (e.g. QuickBooks)


• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication skills

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
