Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Calculate taxes owed and prepare tax returns on a timely basis.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and industry trends.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of transactions and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Assist with external audits as needed.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Accountant to join our financial team in Salalah. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank reconciliations and budgeting.
