Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with HSE standards.
• Lead and supervise rig personnel, assigning tasks and overseeing daily activities.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of rig staff.
• Define project objectives and develop operational plans.
• Oversee drilling operations, ensuring they meet targets and safety expectations.
• Identify updates to operating standards to optimize efficiency.
• Provide clear communication to the team through written and verbal instructions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare documentation.
• Plan and manage the erection, dismantling, and mobilization of drilling rigs.
• Coordinate delivery of drilling tools, fuel, and necessary materials.
• Conduct rig inspections and prepare condition reports.
• Monitor equipment and rig condition; ensure preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate wellbore conditions and communicate drilling outcomes.
• Serve as the main point of contact with operating personnel and client representatives.
• Prepare operational reports, highlighting drilling progress and challenges.
