Job summary

NTU International A/S is seeking a motivated Junior Non-Key Expert – Research & Policy Analyst to support technical assistance assignments through research, data collection and analysis. The role involves preparing background materials and contributing to studies, assessments, reports and policy papers.

The candidate should have a strong economics/policy background and be proficient in English, with Arabic and French considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, international relations, public policy, development studies, or a related field.
• English: C1 level.
• Arabic is highly desirable.
• French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desk research and literature reviews to gather relevant information.
• Analyze policy options and synthesize findings into background materials.
• Collect and structure quantitative and qualitative information for reports.

Junior Non-Key Expert – Research & Policy Analyst

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Downtown Facility.”

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Non-Key Expert – Research & Policy Analyst to support technical assistance assignments through research, data collection and analysis, preparation of background materials, and contributions to studies, assessments, reports and policy papers.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, international relations, public policy, development studies, or a related field.
• English: C1 level.
• Arabic is highly desirable.
• French is an asset.

Professional Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in desk research, literature reviews, policy analysis and preparation of background material.
• Experience collecting and structuring quantitative and qualitative information.
• Ability to support preparation of studies, assessments, reports and policy papers.
• Knowledge of the Egyptian institutional and policy context desirable.
