Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations in a remote resort setting within Muscat. You will supervise staff, coordinate with Front Office, and ensure cleanliness and presentation standards for guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires a minimum of four years in a similar position, hotel or resort experience, and strong English communication skills. Valid passport and PCC are required, with preference for male candidates aged 21+.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, linen management and room inspection procedures.
• Good English communication skills.
• Must be above 21 years of age.
• Willingness to work in a remote and seasonal resort environment.
• Updated CV and previous employer experience certificate required.
• PCC is mandatory and must be obtained/verified before the interview.
• Valid passport with minimum 7 months validity at visa processing time.
• Gender preference: Male.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities and assigned team members.
• Allocate duties, prepare work schedules, and monitor staff performance.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ensure rooms are properly cleaned, serviced, and prepared for guest arrivals.
• Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status, arrivals, departures, and guest requirements.
• Monitor availability and use of housekeeping supplies, linen, amenities, and cleaning materials.
• Maintain stock levels and report shortages or damages.
• Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints professionally with timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and daily operational reports.
• Minimize wastage and optimize housekeeping resources.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Support the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining resort standards.
