Jobgether, listing on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Data API Engineer based remotely from Poland. You will enhance a PostgreSQL-powered Data API used by developers worldwide, contribute to PostgREST, and tackle performance, scalability, and observability in a multitenant environment.

You will work with an asynchronous, globally distributed team, write PL/pgSQL, Haskell, and C components, resolve incidents, and strengthen tooling for open-source software.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional experience with Haskell.
• Experience with C and systems-level programming.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge with PL/pgSQL.
• Experience debugging in Linux environments.
• Open-source contributions are an advantage.
• Ability to support users and diagnose issues clearly.
• Analytical, problem-solving mindset with performance focus.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams.
• Ownership-driven and able to work asynchronously.

Aufgaben

• Improve database connectivity and optimize the PostgreSQL driver (Hasql).
• Develop Data API features and multitenant capabilities for PostgREST.
• Investigate incidents, diagnose root causes, and improve reliability.
• Strengthen observability and monitoring for easier issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Provide clear technical support and guidance to users.
