Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a company seeking a Data Platform Engineer (Mid-level) based in Saudi Arabia. You will transform a data and ML platform into a scalable, self-service environment, building pipelines, IaC modules, and reusable tooling to empower engineering teams worldwide.

You will own platform tooling, collaborate with data and backend teams, and drive governance, security, and documentation while advancing the roadmap for shared tooling in your first six months.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning end-to-end deployment paths.
• Strong Python/SQL and professional engineering background.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ability to navigate and improve unfamiliar codebases.

Responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code modules and templates.
• Apply data governance and access controls for new data services.
• Build self-service platform tooling and reusable modules.
• Create and maintain runbooks and documentation.
• Own data access workflows and platform tooling roadmap.
• Collaborate across data, backend, and infra teams.
• Review AI-generated code for safety and correctness.
