Job summary

Salalah Public Library in Salalah, Oman, is seeking a Librarian to manage collections, assist patrons, and lead programs for all ages. You will conduct reference interviews, teach resource access, and maintain inventory records.

The role requires a Library Science degree, strong communication, and customer service skills. Working hours are 8am–4pm, Sunday–Thursday, with occasional evenings or weekends for special events. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the organization and maintenance of the library's collection
• Assist patrons in locating materials and providing information
• Develop and implement library programs and events for all ages
